Bonanza!

Exeter 5 Millwall 4

A HAT-TRICK by Mike Lester and goals by Kellow and Peter Rogers had Exeter cruising home at 5-1. Then suddenly Millwall surged forward and made it 5-3.

You can't complain at Exeter's scoring skill but they have now conceded 18 goals in eight League games. Millwall looked down and out as Delve and Lester gave Pullar, Kellow and Peter Rogers a dream service.

Kellow started the bonanza when he headed home Delve's free-kick. Lester scored two in three minutes, both inspired by Delve, before Horrix lobbed over Bond.

A Cooke cross gave Lester his hat-trick early in the second half and Peter Rogers ran on to a Pullar cross for the fifth. That ought to have been it. But Anderson fired home from a Horrix cross and Tagg, given a clear header at a corner, made no mistake. Chatterton scored a late penalty after Martin Rogers handled.
