L. E. Grant

L.E Grant from Clyst Hydon played for Exeter City Reserves on the 6th December 1930

"
Having received and beaten Bristol City Reserves and Bristol Rovers Reserves in competition games on successive Saturdays, Exeter City Reserves were at home in friendly match this afternoon to a Bristol and District League eleven, representative of the best amateur talent of Bristol and the neighbourhood. Exeter had at centre-forward L.E.Grant, of Clyst Hydon. "

"
A trial was given at centre-forward to L. E. Grant, aged 18, of Clyst Hydon, who signalised his first appearance in this company by scoring two goals, but also had the misfortune to sustain a rather badly cut forehead in the second half, which necessitated his leaving the field and having the injury attended to by a doctor. The game had scarcely been re-started when Grant, the Clyst Hydon youth, obtained a goal following effective play on the left."
