L. E. Grant
L.E Grant from Clyst Hydon played for Exeter City Reserves on the 6th December 1930
"Having received and beaten Bristol City Reserves and Bristol Rovers Reserves in competition games on successive Saturdays, Exeter City Reserves were at home in friendly match this afternoon to a Bristol and District League eleven, representative of the best amateur talent of Bristol and the neighbourhood. Exeter had at centre-forward L.E.Grant, of Clyst Hydon. "
"A trial was given at centre-forward to L. E. Grant, aged 18, of Clyst Hydon, who signalised his first appearance in this company by scoring two goals, but also had the misfortune to sustain a rather badly cut forehead in the second half, which necessitated his leaving the field and having the injury attended to by a doctor. The game had scarcely been re-started when Grant, the Clyst Hydon youth, obtained a goal following effective play on the left."
