EXETER IN LAST 32
TUESDAY 3rd OCTOBER
EXETER CITY marched into the last-32 of the Littlewoods Cup after completing the humiliation of Second Division leaders Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park last night.
Leading 3-0 from the first leg, City virtually clinched the tie when Darran Rowbotham equalised Mark Atkins' first-half goal for Rovers. And even when Atkins scored again to win the game for Blackburn 2-1, it was too little and too late to stop City going through 4-2 on aggregate.
