Biographical Text
Robins played for Exeter City in the Plymouth and District League before the club turned professional in 1908.
Having played in an earlier friendly against one of the Royal Field Artillery teams, he played his only first-team game against St Michael’s (Plymouth) on 8 December 1906.
In a season when forty-two players appeared for the first-team, he made his debut alongside two other players including Evelyn Lintott (St Luke’s College, Queens Park Rangers and England).
Remaining with the club as an amateur into the professional era, he appeared for the reserves until 1909.
