IT WAS LIKE A PRACTICE MATCH.
Exeter City romped to their biggest win of the season, it was so easy for them that it was more like a mid week practice gameChester made it blatantly obvious why they were at the bottom of the table. Their defence would make a colander look water proof, City could afford to play with all the composure and confidence in the world and were therefore able to stroll through the game.
It certainly turned into a field day for Rees and BlueThe two City forwards have been virtually goalless all the season but they got two each in this game, Jenkins was the other scorer, Blue was a Surprise package, he promised so much this season, but in this game the promise was fullfilled, he had his best game since signing for City,
Occasionally City's play became too complicated or they took too much time to think. Then they were robbed or got themselves temporarily into trouble, but these spells never lasted long and when ever they made a real effort they went through the Chester defence and got a goal.
