Match Report
Fast open football with the maximum of shots and skill was allowed by both teams, and for City fans there was the startling show of bite and efficiency from left winger Adrian Thorne who played the night as an inside right. The supporters came to see an exhibition match and that is what the two sides served up, City's goals came from Dermot Curtis (16th minute), and Thorne (44th & 75th minutes). Young Bruce Stuckey who only signed professional two months ago showed a lot of promise.
MONEY FOR BARRY REDWOOD.
Exeter City's testimonial game against Swindon for Barry Redwood on Monday raised the sum of £401 for him. This came from gate receipts, draws, and donations which were made. The only deduction made was for the travelling expenses of the Swindon Town team.
