Biographical Text
Scott, a defender from SE London, played age group football for Cray Wanderers and first started playing for City's under-18 team as an under-16 category player in the EFL Youth Alliance in the second half of 2021/22. Commencing his two-year scholarship in July 2022, he continued playing for the youth team in 2022/23 and appeared in the FA Youth Cup tie against Newport County at St James' Park.
Ahead of the 2023/24 season he played in a first-team friendly against Weston-super-Mare and later featured in the club's FA Youth Cup games against Reading City and Hemel Hempstead Town before going on loan to Tavistock towards the end of the season. Later returning to St James' Park, Scott was released in the summer of 2024 without being offered a professional contract.
