Harrison King, a defender from Exeter, started his two-year scholarship with Exeter City in August 2021 and made his debut in the EFL Trophy in October 2022. Playing just once more, he left the club in May 2024 after one seaon as a full professional.
During 2021/22 Harrison played, usually at right-back, for the under-18s in the EFL Youth Alliance and FA Youth Cup as well as featuring in the team that lost to Bideford on penalties in the final of the Devon St Luke’s Bowl in May 2022.
Moving into 2022/23, Harrison made his first-team debut in the EFL Trophy against Southampton under-21 on 4 October 2022 and later appeared in the same competition against Forest Green Rovers. He also spent most of the season on loan at Plymouth Parkway before signing his first professional deal with Exeter City in April 2023.
Harrison started the 2023/24 season with another loan spell at Plymouth Parkway but soon suffered injury and played little football before being loaned once more to Parkway in January 2024 and Tavistock in April 2024 ahead of leaving St James' Park at the end of the season.
