Biographical Text

Mitch Beardmore started his two-year scholarship with Exeter City in August 2021, made his debut in 2022 and turned professional in 2023. 

Mitch had been a member of the Yeovil Town academy before its closure and soon made good progress at Exeter playing for the under-18s in the EFL Youth Alliance and FA Youth Cup as well as appearing in City’s run to the final of the Devon St Luke’s Bowl in May 2022.

Mitch
made his first-team debut away to Forest Green Rovers on 18 October 2022 in the Football League Trophy and later sat on the bench for first-team league and cup games before, in March 2023, it was announced that he had signed a professional contract.

Starting his first full season as a professional Mitch appeared as a substitute in the League Cup against Stevenage in August 2023 and made his league debut as a substitute against Leyton Orient in September 2023. After playing twice in the EFL Trophy, Mitch  joined Tavistock on loan in October 2023 followed by spells with Tiverton Town from November 2023 and Mousehole from January 2024.

Retained into the 2024/25 season, Mitch moved to Plymouth Parkway on loan in August 2024 whilst also featuring for City's under-23s in the Premier League Cup.
