Biographical Text

Alfie Clark, a winger from Somerset, joined Exeter City as scholar/trainee in 2021 and made his only first-team appearance in an EFL Trophy game at Forest Green Rovers. He later played for Bideford.

Alfie soon became a regular for the under-18s in the EFL Youth Alliance and in FA Youth Cup games. He was also in the team that lost to Bideford on penalties in the final of the Devon St Luke’s Bowl in May 2022. Then, after being an unused substitute for the EFL Trophy game against Southampton under-21 in October 2022, Alfie made his solitary first-team appearance as a half-time substitute at Forest Green Rovers on 18 October 2022.

Alfie also had a period on loan at Western League Wellington during 2022/23 before, upon his release from Exeter City in May 2023, being offered a scholarship with Florida Atlantic University to study psychology and play for the university football team. By early 2024 he was reported to have signed for Bideford ahead of joining hometown club Taunton Town in the summer from where he was immediately loaned to Cribbs at the start of the 2024/25 campaign.
