Gilroy, Chloe

Exeter City WFC welcomed Chloe Gilroy to the team on "deadline day" the 1st September 2022. 

Chloe signed after previous spells with Bridgwater United, Southampton WFC and she has also Captained the England Colleges team.

In July 2021 Bridgwater United wrote the following when Chloe signed from Southampton.

"The powerful forward signs from fellow FAWNL side, Southampton FC. Gilroy has the versatility to play anywhere along the attacking line and a great eye for goal that will provide dynamic edge to the squad’s attacking play."

In 2019, the ECFA Women’s National Team travelled to Italy to compete in the Il Cacio E’ Rosa in Rome on their debut in the competition. After sailing through the group stages, beating all the Italian regional teams in their group, the team faced Welsh Colleges FA in the final, winning 1-0 in a nail-biting match with a goal from team captain Chloe Gilroy


A Bristol City Women Development side consisting of SGS College and Vixens development players fell to defeat to Birmingham City on Sunday. The pre-season fixture was held at Coleshill Town FC. The Bristol City goal came from Youth Academy graduate Chloe Gilroy, ably assisted by Ellie Strippel.

September 2017 BCFC 

Chloe also played for the Development squad (Exeter City WFC reserves) in 2022/23.

Chloe joined fellow National League outfit, AFC Bournemouth in the summer of 2023 after helping the Grecians to a second place finish in 2022/23, scoring four goals in her 18 appearances.
