Of the six meetings between us so far, Exeter have won four and Llanederyn two. For me the most exciting match was the 4-3 defeat at Llanederyn in 1978. We were a goal down when Mandy Langman lobbed an incredible equaliser from about thirty yards. Ten minutes later, Trina Lake (the mild-mannered reporter) repeated this spectacle from the halfway line except that she was lobbing a back pass to our goalkeeper. That put LIanederyn 2-1 up and by five minutes from time were 4-1 up, during those last few minutes, however we scored twice and only just missed out on an equaliser. It was really good to watch.
