MATCH REPORT

Exeter 2 Keynsham 1

With four weeks since our friendly against Reigate this was rather going into the unknown. Keyinsham have just been formed, with players from teams such as Warminster, St Catherines and Bristol clubs now folded. We anticipated a hard fought game and were right. Our lack of match practice showed and Keynsham managed to put fine passes and moves together. Once again Annie penetrated the defence and against the run of play scored with a fine shot. Keynsham positive moves and aggression paid off and they pulled back a well taken goal just before half time.

The second half proved to take a turn for the better for us and we slowly got our game together, Jackie played a good game and made some very testing crosses across Keynsham's defence, to which Annie took advantage and scored our second goal, this gave us a shakey but first league win of the season.
