Match 10
27th November 2016
Devon County Cup 1st Round
Buckland Athletic (home)
MANAGER'S REACTION ON THE NARROW DEFEAT TO BUCKLAND.
"Our game intelligence and calmness in possession was sublime in patches and it's definitely something we can be pleased about. As much as we deserved to win the game, this is a fantastic platform for us to build on and take to Maidenhead in the league next Sunday. People catching this result on social media will see this as just another game that we didn't win but I'm very pleased as this is another upwards curve on our progress graph. As much as I'd love for our progress to be a positive straight line, it's obviously going to be bumpy. We have faced setbacks on and off the pitch, we've been on the end of some harsh results and in some instances some very unfair results but looking back on today's game, the positives outshine the negatives and that's promising."
