Season Summary
1984-85
In the last programme of the season. The manager took the opportunity in thanking few people.
Firstly Brenda, for her endless selling of the lottery tickets. Julie Costello, who again has been our Captain and who also has the task of being our fixture secretary, a never ending job. Dave and Ken, who run the line in all weathers and of course supports us every week.
A special mention should be given to two players who are hanging up there boots. Jackie who has been a player since Exeter was first formed, and has made 148 appearances and scored a few goals. And Annie who has only been with us for a few seasons, she has the ability to dazzle any defence and the given knack of scoring goals.
Also a special mention to Sarah who is hanging up her clipboard, she has had the endless job of coaching us, arranging fixtures and nagging us (for our own benefit) to be on time. We have won the League under her guidance and several other bits of silverware. I am sure Sarah, Jackie and Annie, will be missed.
Lastly let us not forget all the other players, the experienced and the young who after all if it was'nt for them there would be no Exeter Ladies.
