Western League X1 v South West Region X1
On Saturday the 5th January four of our team travelled to Frome to represent the Western League in a friendly against the South West Region.
Annie had already been selected to play for the Region and Ju T, Jackie, Brenda and Mandy L, played for our League.
On a very difficult surface which had suffered from a very hard frost and freezing conditions the girls did well to even keep their feet. The Region played well and with Annie playing a big part in their win over the League 5-2.
The Western League scorers were both from Cardiff, Gail Fortt and Wendy Talab
