LEAGUE
We travelled to Newport a little doubtful as to what conditions would meet us, as there had been a week of rain. When we saw the pitch we could not believe it had been described as playable, but never the less after travelling all that way we did not want to go home without playing the game.
We made one mistake and that was to try to play football, Newport settled quickly and being physically stronger, managed to make us struggle, and it did'nt take long for them to take the lead.
The match played in difficult conditions was not to be our game and we dropped two precious points.
