Exeter Ladies FC ended their season in style by winning the Women's Western Football League's Sowden Cup. 

They beat Cardiff LFC 1-0 at Bradford on Avon with the winning goal coming from Bridget Thomas in the 23rd minute. 

Exeter dominated for most of the match and should have won by a more convincing margin. They hit the woodwork three times.

Their experienced defender Jackie Tancock was voted player of the match
