EXETER LADIES were merciless in a 10-0 win over a young Cope Chat side at Wyvern Barracks yesterday. Playing Cope Chat for the first time Exeter showed their experience against a young side full of running. Cope Chat have just joined the Western League and kept trying hard to gain possession. They ran the Stroud side ragged and gave early notice of what was to come with a goal in the first 20 seconds without the opposition touching the hall.
Exeter once again got into double figures and won 10-0.

• The scorers were Mandy Langman 4, Penny Wilson 2, Ju Trott 1, Bridget Thomas 1, Frances Crispin 1,and Julie Costello 1.

They have now scored 21 goals in two Women's Western League games without conceding.
