Floodlit Friendly
Exmouth (away)
Match Report
EXMOUTH 1 EXETER 3
Playing Exmouth in a friendly for the first time for many seasons we were invited by them to their outside training facilities at Lympstone Marine Camp on the all-weather pitch, and also under floodlights to give them a game. It took us a good 20 minutes to settle down on this strange surface. With a very fast moving ball and being used to the surface Exmouth started off the scoring with a high dipping ball to put them in the lead. During the second half Exeter took complete control and soon came back to equalise with a goal from Annie. Putting good moves together and using their abilities well, we put away another two chances, taken by Penny and Bridget.
