JACKIE HITS HER FIRST
EXETER Ladies defender Jackie Tancock scored her first goal for the club in well over 100 appearances span- ning seven years.
It came in their 14-0 win over Barry LFC at Wyvern Barracks yesterday in the first round of the Women's Western League Pat Sowden Cup.
Tancock made a number of telling runs down the right flank and cut inside to send one lofted drive sailing over the goalkeeper and into the back of the net from 30 yards.
Yesterday's 14 goals bring Exeter's tally against the Welsh side to 36 without reply in three games.
Their other scorers were Bridget Thomas (4), Penny Wilson (3), Mandy Langman (2), Annie Hesketh (2), Trina Lake, and Julie Trott.
