STRONG LADIES VISIT
ONE OF the country's strongest women's foot- ball league representative sides will be in Exeter tomorrow. The Home Counties League, with several established internationals to call on, will be at Exeter's Wyvern Barracks to play the Women's Western League A and B in the first matches of their brief Westcountry tour.
On Monday they take on the Women's South Western League sides. The Western League sides are again dominated by the two most successful clubs in its make up, Exeter and Car- diff. Exeter provide no fewer than 10 players for the A and B teams and Cardiff will have eight players parade. on
The B team game kicks off at 1.30 with the A teams in action at 3.0.

LEAGUE CUP FOR WESTERN
THE WOMEN'S Western League A side had a fine 3-2 win over the Women's Home Counties League at Wyvern Barracks on Sunday.
That result, coupled with the 7-1 destruction of the Women's South Western. League side last month, wins the Western League the inter-league Lloyds Cup outright for the first time in a number of years.
Exeter Ladies' striker Annie Hesketh used her tremendous speed to cause the Home Counties' defence all sorts of problems and was rewarded with two goals. The third came from Cardiff's Gail Fortt.
It was a fine all-round team performance from the Exeter and Cardiff dominated side.
The Western League B team went down 5-1 to the Home Counties B, Mandy Langman scoring a consolation goal for the losers.
