With the worst weather conditions played in yet this season we went to Pleynt hoping for a good game and a succesful result. Unfortunately this was not to be, Exeter seemed unable to play there normal game or finish their moves off. The first goal came from a fine move ending up with a good cross from the right and one of Pleynt defenders going to head the ball clear, but not meeting it correctly headed it into her own goal. At half time Pleynt had pulled a goal back. From the start of the second half Pleynt were more organised and soon took the lead, Bridget took the chance of equalising and then Pleynt seemed to pull together and took two well. taken chances to win by a convincing score. We wish then all the best in the next round!
