Exeter Ladies Defeat Chippenham Ladies

Exeter City Ladies picked up two points when they defeated Chippenham Ladies 3-0 on Sunday.

The ten players from Chippenham were never any match for the local side who had most of the play. Debbie Turner and Bridget Thomas (2) scored for Exeter Ladies.

This weekend they entertain the current Western Women's League champions Warminster at Wyvern Barracks, Exeter, k.o. 3 p.m.

Two wins in two weeks has put Tiverton Town Ladies on top of the League this season.

Devon Lesgue 

In the Devon League, Exeter crashed 7-0 away to Exmouth. Lucy Molland scored a hat-trick and the other goals came from Sue Baldwin, Eve Selleck, Sandra Battishall and Sue Hamilton.

Elmore went to Kingsteignton with 10 players and lost 4-0 to Watts, Blake and Bearne, who scored through Kim Hewings, Carol Pike (2) and Karen Briblecombe.
