Exeter 1-5 Warminster 

Ladies' better form

Exeter City Ladies, playing some of their best football of the season, were nonetheless defeated when they met Warminster Town Ladies, the current champions of the women's Western League, on Sunday.

By half time, the city ladies were already 3-0 down. Bridget Thomas scored their only goal early in the second half, but Warminster fol- lowed up by scoring two more to take two points back to Wiltshire.

On Sunday, Exeter Ladies are home against Bath Ladies. (Kick off 3 p.m., Wyvern Barracks).

Draws which took place at the League's council meeting last Friday have put Exeter against Uley in the first round of the Pat Sowden Cup Mon October 21., and against Warminster in the first round of the League Cup on December 2.
