Ladies hit by injury
Exeter Ladies Football team are on the lookout for some new blood as long standing member Julie Dunlop retires and many others are suffering from injury. Anyone interested in joining the team is asked to contact Vivienne Asher on Exeter 67052 or Trina Lake, Silverton 634.
Regardless of the recent injuries, Exeter did well on Sunday and drew against Tiverton away, 2-2.
Because of the draw and a resounding win by Warminster against Plymouth, Tiverton have now been removed from their position at the top of the Western Women's Football League.
At Tiverton the first goal was scored by Exeter's Penny Wilson. Half way through the first half the equalising goal waa Knocked into the net from a penalty.
Tiverton went on to take the lead with their second goal of the game after the ball crossed the line from a kick by Beverley Moore
Exeter was saved from defeat in the second half when Penny Wilson scored a well deserved equalising goal.
