Ladies' 5-goal triumph

Exeter ladies did well on Sunday in their game against Pelynt with a five-goal vic- tory over the Cornish team. This represents a major win for Exeter in the second round of the Womens Foot- ball Association Cup, as they have knocked out the last remaining Devon League side. The Cornish team were still in the game up to half time when only one goal was scored by Exeter's Julie Trott. But a change of tactics by Exeter saw four more goals knocked into the back of the net in the second half. Two of them were scored by centre forward Penny Wilson, while the remaining couple came from the foot of Mandy Langman.
