Exeter City 2-2 Rushden and Diamonds 

Rushden & Diamonds striker Simeon Jackson scored twice in four minutes but it was not enough to earn his side victory in an entertaining match.

Exeter took the lead when Diamonds defender Wayne Hatswell diverted the ball past his own keeper from 12 yards.

Rushden fought back superbly after the interval to hit back and Jackson put them ahead with two quick strikes.

But their hopes of claiming victory were dashed as Jamie Mackie converted from 12 yards to level matters.
