Match 38
23rd February 2008
Farsley Celtic (Home)

Exeter 2-1 Farsley Celtic

Exeter survived late pressure from Farsley to move into the play-off zone.

The visitors started well but were hit when Daniel Seaborne headed in Exeter's first real chance from six yards and Matthew Taylor fired home the second.

Farsley managed to get one back just after the hour mark thanks to David McNiven's 12-yard effort barely a minute after coming off the bench.

The visitors cranked up the pressure on the Grecians goal in the closing stages but could not force an equaliser.
