BBC Match Report –

Exeter and Notts County shared the points in a game of few chances at St James Park.

Notts dominated the first half but went behind when Troy Archibald-Henville's nod-down was turned into his own net by Alan Sheehan.

The visitors hit back when Ben Burgess capitalised on sloppy defending to slide the ball in from 15 yards.

Neal Bishop headed against the bar for Notts before Exeter's Rowan Vine stumbled after being played in on goal.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Notts County manager Martin Allen told BBC Radio Nottingham:

"What a great point. It was our third game in six days. There's been loads of travelling and they've worked hard for that.

"We were not quite at our our sharpest. When you've had three games - especially that Juventus away game - then it's hard.

"They tried their best. We tried to pass it. We weren't quite as snappy and sharp as we have been at home.

"And for the 188 fans it was an absolutely fantastic turnout. It's a long way from home."
