BBC match report –
Exeter failed to give manager Paul Tisdale a victory on his 2,000th day in charge as they drew with fellow strugglers Scunthorpe.
The Grecians shaded the first half, with Chris Hackett twice being denied by the Iron's on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.
Scunthorpe improved after the break as keeper Artur Krysiak impressively kept out Bobby Grant and Shane Duffy.
Jake Taylor almost won it for Exeter but his shot hit the crossbar late on.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Exeter boss Paul Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon:
"It wasn't the best game you've probably seen here at the Park, and not our best performance, but a point is better than nothing.
"Artur Krysiak was our man of the match, he's certainly the most athletic goalkeeper that I've seen or had the benefit of working with here at Exeter in the last six years.
"The crowd were brilliant, it's a shame we couldn't get them a goal or the win."
Scunthorpe boss Alan Knill told BBC Radio Humberside:
"I have to say, I thought we were pretty good today, especially in the second half where we came out and dominated.
"I was delighted with the way the players came out in the second half .
"They look confident, they move the ball around the pitch, and some of the moving and passing was really good."
