BBC match report –
Wycombe picked up a vital three points in their battle to avoid relegation with victory away at Exeter.
After a lacklustre first half, Paul Hayes put the visitors in front when he slotted home, before Stuart Beavon finished well after being put through.
Exeter hit back almost immediately through James Dunne's powerful free-kick from the edge of the area.
Hayes then rounded off the Chairboys' victory with a header that looped over keeper Lenny Pidgeley.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Wycombe manager Gary Waddock told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"Two games away from home - Bury on Saturday and here tonight - it's a good time to get back-to-back victories, the points are very valuable at this moment in time.
"Both sets of players knew the importance of the game and they were nervous and tense.
"Second half, when the game opened up, we had opportunities, we took them and we got three valuable points."
