BBC Match report-

Richard Logan scored twice for Exeter as they beat Carlisle and extended their unbeaten home run to six games.

The home side went ahead when Ryan Harley set up Logan who curled in a shot from just outside the area.

Exeter doubled their lead when Liam Sercombe played a though ball to Logan, who cut inside a defender before coolly slotting home from inside the area.

The visitors pulled one back when Matty Robson curled in a 25-yard free-kick, but Exeter held on for the win.

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon:

"I'm pleased with the way we played. It wasn't quite as pretty as last week, but we won the game this week and we didn't last week.

"I'm pleased that Richard [Logan] played so well, and he took those goals really well and he's in fine form.

"I wouldn't say we're going to be promoted, but I'm certainly not going to talk as if we're not capable of it we're a good side and we're getting better.

"It's a wide-open league and I don't think we have to win every game to finish in the top six, although there's lots of sides that'll be saying the same thing as me."
