Craig Stanley's fine volley 15 minutes from time secured a deserved point for Morecambe in an entertaining draw.

Exeter took the lead through Jamie Mackie inside the first minute, poking in Adam Stansfield's flick-on.

Danny Carlton levelled things up before half time with a fierce strike from 12 yards, before Stansfield restored Exeter's lead from close range.

Morecambe keeper Steve Drench denied Lee Phillips soon after and Stanley then sealed a draw from 25 yards.
