BBC match report –
Northwich gave their survival hopes a shot in the arm after a late Michael Carr penalty gave them three points.
After an uneventful first half, Carr came close as he fired just wide after Andrew Smart's dangerous cross.
But on 77 minutes, Carlos Roca's cross was handled by Jon Richardson and Carr slotted home from the spot.
The visitors rallied, Billy Jones forcing a fine save out of Ben Connett with a free-kick from the edge of the box but Northwich held on.
