Defender John Hardiker's brace gave Forest Green a dramatic win over Exeter and severely dented the Grecians' Conference play-off hopes.

Green took the lead on 11 minutes, Hardiker volleying home at the near post from Simon Clist's corner.

Exeter levelled in first-half stoppage time, Lee Elam scoring from 15 yards.

But Hardiker grabbed the winner on 87 minutes, smashing home a rebound after his initial volley from Clist's free-kick was parried by Paul Jones.
