Exeter dropped their first points of the season in a goalless match of few chances against Forest Green.

The visitors produced a dogged display as the Grecians twice went close through Lee Phillips.

Zema Abbey produced Rovers' first effort at goal just after the hour mark but his right-foot drive from just inside the penalty area flew wide.

Alex Meechan went close towards the end but his shot was covered by Exeter goalkeeper Paul Jones.
