BBC match report
Gary Smith's penalty gave MK Dons a LDV Vans Trophy win over 10-man Exeter.
Smith scored from the spot in the 90th minute after Chris Vinnicombe saw red for a rash challenge on Aaron Wilbraham that led to the penalty.
The home side had seized the lead in the 21st minute when Leon Crooks pulled the trigger on a precision pass and Smith powered in a low shot home.
Wilbraham's scrambled goal made it 2-0, but Exeter levelled with goals from Lee Phillips and Andy Taylor's free-kick.
