Exeter moved to the top of the Conference after securing a point against Altrincham.

Alex Inglethorpe's (photo) side dominated the early stages and Jon Challinor headed in just after the half hour mark.

Striker Craig Farrell and winger Tony Scully both tested Altrincham goalkeeper Stuart Coburn as Exeter looked to extend their lead.

The home side rescued a point when Colin Little fired past Paul Jones from the edge of the penalty area.
