Gary Roberts' brace helped Accrington move 11 points clear at the top of the Conference as they won comfortably at the home of their closest rivals.

Roberts opened the scoring with a beautifully-struck free-kick from 25 yards in the 12th minute.

Romuald Boco doubled the lead seven minutes after the interval, rifling a low shot past Paul Jones.

Roberts drove in his second on 68 minutes before Jake Edwards lobbed a smart consolation goal for Exeter.
