Ryan Sudgen bagged a brace as Halifax kept up their unbeaten home record with an impressive win against Exeter.
Sugden got the hosts off to a perfect start when he drilled home from 12 yards after just four minutes.
Brian Smickle almost doubled their advantage with a stunning 25-yard free-kick that Paul Jones saved well.
Sugden sealed the points seven minutes before the break with a close-range effort from Matt Doughty's centre and Exeter could find no way back.
