Tamworth grabbed a point despite their player-manager Mark Cooper being sent off in the first half and ending the game with only nine men.

Exeter scored after 27 seconds when Jon Challinor hammered home from 12 yards.

But Tamworth equalised in the 18th minute, Scott Stamps finding Cooper who hit a shot into the roof of the net.

Cooper saw red for a late challenge on Challinor - his second yellow - and after Billy Jones hit the bar for Exeter, Peter Folkes was sent off.
