Grays moved into fourth place in the Conference with a convincing victory.

Glenn Poole's neat finish from Mark DeBolla's through ball set Grays on their way after 33 minutes, but they then withstood some sustained pressure.

Exeter's Dean Moxey hit the bar and the hosts countered, Dennis Oli scoring before John Martin added a third.

Paul Jones did well to save Poole's fierce drive but Martin followed up to tap in and wrap up the points, although Lee Phillips hit the woodwork late on.
