Exeter win 4-2 on pens
Exeter City survived only the second penalty shoot-out in FA Cup history to beat non-League Colchester United 4-2 on penalties after extra time in last night's first round replay at St James' Park.
The tie was goalless after extra time, but goalkeeper Kevin Miller saved twice during the shoot-out to earn the Grecians a second round home match against Swansea City on Saturday week.
- Colchester United become first side to go out of the FA Cup without conceding a goal, and the second team to go out on penalties.
