BBC match report –
Leigh had to settle for a draw after Wayne Maden's goal threatened to cause an upset against high-flying Exeter.
Leigh nearly took the lead when Gareth Sheldon's error forced his own keeper James Bittner into a reflex save.
The home side did go infront when the outstanding Maden drilled home after 41 minutes.
But striker James Coppinger hauled Exeter level after 58 minutes with a neat finish from inside the box.
