Defender Lee Phillips scored twice for Forest Green as they secured an impressive draw at St James Park.

Phillips opened the scoring with an angled drive after seven minutes, before Glenn Cronin levelled for Exeter from close-range.

Five minutes into the second period the hosts went infront, Gareth Sheldon ramming home with his right foot.

But Phillips struck late on to hand the visitors a well-earned point.
