Chester moved a step closer to winning promotion back to the Football League with a hard-fought win over Exeter.
Sean Devine latched on to a weak back-header from Danny Collins to fire Exeter ahead but Michael Twiss levelled with a precise 20-yard shot.
Daryl Clare's curling free-kick put Chester ahead before Twiss made it 3-1 with a superb angled finish.
Sean Canham volleyed home another goal for Exeter in injury time but Chester held on to take all three points.
Mark Wright's side, who were relegated from the League in 2000, are now six points clear of second-placed Hereford with just three games left.
