A good day for Exeter City as the first, "A and Under 18 teams all win in emphatic style. The Under 18's play their first match in the Westcountry Television South West Counties Youth League and brush aside Swansea City 4-2, with an impressive dis- play of football. (Last 6 colour photos)
The 'A' team also win at the Cat and Fiddle defeating Feniton 5-1 in the Devon and Exeter Premier League.
Back at St. James Park the City first team swamp Wrexham 5-0 with big Ronnie Jepson netting four times and Steve Wigley getting his first goal for the club. The atten- dance of 3,982 includes Freddie Starr who takes his place on the Big Bank

- The City board meet after the game and turn down Freddie Starr's latest offer for the club. Chief executive Allen Trump issued a statement on behalf of the board which read "The board has unanimously supported the president's rejection of Mr. Starr's final offer. Mr. Dawe has resigned as a director."
