After a promising first half, when it appeared that Exeter City were to break their long run without a Second Division victory, the Grecians had to settle for another draw against visiting Bradford City. With Mickey Ross limping out of the action early in the second half, Exeter never re-pro- duced the same fluent moves which had been a feature in the opening 45 minutes. Bradford grew stronger as the match wore on, and only the crossbar saved Exeter as a terrific Frank Stapleton shot rebounded to safety. Man of the match for Exeter City is winger Mark Gavin
EXETER CITY: Peter Fox, Jason Minett, Ronnie Robinson, Mark Cooper, Scott Daniels, Mickey Ross (Danny Bailey), Stuart Storer, Russell Coughlin, Robbie Turner, Nicky Morgan, Mark Gavin.
