Match 56
2 May 1994.
Stockport County (h)

Exeter City 1 Stockport County 2.

Monday 2 May 1994.

Despite the Grecians taking the lead through Robbie Turner, promotion hopefuls Stockport County hit back to take the points with a goal in each half. City's best spell came immediately after the interval when they had the visitors back pedalling and were unlucky not to have scored on at least two occa- sions. County's giant and hugely talented striker, Kevin Francis, being watched from the St James Park grand- stand by Wimbledon Chairman Sam Hamman netted both the Stockport goals.
